If you can't get a regular cidret card, get ONE secured card. Use it and pay it off in full every month. After 6 months or so, you will probably be able to get a regular cidret card. Use that and pay it off every month.You will need at least a 24 month consistent, on time payment history to improve your score. Paying off old debt won't increase your score. The damage is already done. But paid old debt does look better than unpaid.There is no magic way to increase your score overnight. It takes time. Instead of laying out money for deposits for all those extra secured cidret cards, put that money in a savings account and add a set amount to it every payday for a nice big downpayment.
