Welcome to the first online Overwatch tournament, hosted, streamed and ran by me :) (reach out if you want to help otherwise I can handle it :P)

As a fan of eSports and as someone who works in the industry I wanted to host an online Overwatch tournament.

DO NOT EXPECT FANCY PRODUCTION.

It's going to be a simple affair to begin with with a max sign up of 8 teams with games from each round of the bracket being streamed on my channel at www.sombrero.gg/stream (www.twitch.tv/sombrero19 to follow for notifications)

Tournament Details

When: November 14th 6pm PDT/2AM CET/9AM SGT

Where: US Server - Live streamed at www.sombrero.gg/stream

Prize pool: $300 Base prize pool - If you want to increase the pool use this link (Donation Link) and let me know in the note that the donation is for the tournament and I will add it to the total.

($200 First place, $100 Second place) - paid via paypal to Team Captain. (Team Captains are responsible for dividing cash)

Format: BEST OF 3 - Coin flip to decide who defends on first map, 2nd map other team defends. 3rd map coin flip decides who defends. http://justflipacoin.com/ will be used for coinflip



Stream Details

Stream will be 720p 60fps

1 series from the quarter finals will be streamed, both semi finals and the grand finals will be streamed.



Rules

This is going to be super simple, I am not ESL so expect stuff to be decided on the fly with best judgement. At the end of the day this is just for a bit of fun and to see what matches of Overwatch can look like.

All Team Captains must add me on battle.net (Sombrero#1462) so I can verify they have access to beta. I will reach out separately to each captain once they add me.

Players must be prepared to wait for both semi final games to be streamed.

Teams must be 6 members, subs are allowed. Have fun.
