Spotgamers proudly present, Spotgamers Weekly Online Tournament (SWOT) SEA Region for FIFA 13! Gamers will now compete to be the best in SEA and to win from total cash pool prizes of USD300++ monthly! Best of all top 8 players will receive cash prize!

SWOT SEA Region is an initiative done by Spotgamers to spearhead the development of e-Sports in South East Asia. By creating weekly online tournament, gamers can look forward every weekend to test their skills and compete with the best and get rewarded for their good performance. SWOT aims to be the online platform for gamers to train up and gather with other gamers from all over the region.

We have included FIFA 13 as our official game but we want to see at least 32 players to join our online tourney. By having 32 players we will be able to attract more sponsors in the future and ensuring that we have selected the games that deserve to get our support. Games that doesnt show a strong turn up will eventually be left out from the tourney for other deserving games.

9am-10am: Players online check in
10am-12pm: Group stages(5 players in 4 group)
12pm-1pm: Top 16
1pm-2pm: Quarter Finals
2pm-3pm: Semi Finals
3pm-4pm: Finals & 3rd Placing

Players check in at 9am till 10am. All match starts at 10am.

Since it will be a weekly tournament, that means anyone can stand a chance to win up to RM400 a month! That is of course if you win every week :D

Cash prizes will be send to players every 15th of next month since our sponsorship deal is on monthly basis.

Eg: All July 2013 tournaments will receive cash prize on 15th August 2013

USD 1 = RM 3.32 according to Paypal


The extra cents is to cover Paypal transaction fee of 3.9% + RM2.00

(Yes its ridiculous we know but for July we will be using Paypal. We will be implementing a better payment gateway in August – September)

Qualifying = Group Stage (4 players in 1 group. Top 2 of each group will be qualified to the knock out round)
Top 32 = Knock Out Stage Home and Away format (Champions League]

4. If points tied between gamers, the following rules applied in order:-
- Goal difference (scored goal minus away goal)
- Goal scored

- Head to Head results

General Online Rules & Regulations:

1. Players must check in latest 15 minutes before the start of your match. Arriving late (5 minutes) for a scheduled match may result in a forfeit at the discretion of the organizer.

2. Players must add your opponent IDs at least 15 minutes before the start of your match. All players IDs & tournament brackets will be posted at the event registration page 1 day before the tournament day. Delay due to not adding your opponent IDs or not knowing your brackets or schedules may result in a forfeit at the discretion of the organizer.

3. If there is disconnection during game, players will rematch with the remaining scores & times. Please inform game admin before proceed.

4. If there is lagging and the lagging is unplayable, game admin will decide either to continue the match or to forfeit player who has bad connection. Please ensure you met the minimum internet speed requirement for SWOT.

4. Only the winner shall inform the results to the game admin.

5. Any type of report of complaints for cheating/foul play must be provided with evidence such as screen shot or video. You may use your smart phone camera to record as long as it is clear & visible. Reports or complaints without evidence will not be entertained.

6. All players who have successfully registered must read & understand all rules & regulations. Pretending not knowing or not understanding may result in a forfeit at the discretion of the organizer.

7. Players are encouraged to record or stream your match as long as there is no lag. If you do record/stream please send us the link so that we can showcase it on our page.

8. This R&R will be updated time to time as we look to improve everyone experience in SWOT. So do give us feedbacks & suggestions yea!


FIFA 13 Rules & Regulations:

1. Change of Formation and Substitutes STRICTLY before game start and during half time, throw in, goal kick, corner kick and serious injured ONLY. If you need to stop the game for any reason, you have to kick the ball out of field. If your opponent makes an official complaint, first you will be given warning and if it happens again, you will lose the game with score 0-3

2. Participants are NOT ALLOWED to CUSTOMIZED & EDIT their team FORMATION. However, participants are ALLOWED to change formation with FORMATION PROVIDED IN-GAME ONLY. CUSTOM TACTICS are allowed.

3. Participants are encourage to bring their own game controller at their own risk (if missing or broken)

4. Before a match start, a coin toss will be held to determine player 1 & 2

5. Arriving late (5 minutes) for a scheduled match may result in a forfeit at the discretion of the organizer.

6. If any player committing any violations regarded as unfair play, the offending player, at the sole discretion of the organizer, may receive a warning, a forfeit loss or be disqualified from the tournament and ban to enter next tournaments

The following actions will be considered unfair play:
1) The use of any cheat program
2) Intentional disconnection
3) The use of any settings exceeding the standard and permitted settings
4) Match fixing or clearly allowing one’s opponent to win a match
5) Time wasting is forbidden
6) Unsportsmanlike behavior or, in general, disruptive (e.g. use of abusive/foul language), inappropriate and/or unprofessional actions (e.g. provocation) directed towards another player (inside & outside the game)

7. Organizer have the right to change the tournament format, game format, prizes, time, venue, date, etc. without given any prior notice before, during or after the tournament over

8. In the event of any dispute during the tournament, the decision of the organizer will be final
